Here’s the thing about Corsica — location is everything, and La Villa Calvi absolutely nailed it. From here, you’re looking out over the bay toward Calvi’s iconic citadel, and I mean, the views are pretty spectacular. What I really appreciated was how couples seem to gravitate toward this spot (they rate the location 9.6, which makes total sense). You’re close enough to walk into town for dinner at the harbor restaurants, but far enough up the hill that you feel like you’ve escaped the summer crowds. The Notre Dame de la Serra chapel is practically next door if you’re into that sort of thing — or just want a nice walk with incredible panoramic views.

The Rooms & Comfort

I’ll be straight with you — the beds here are something special. There’s a reason guests keep raving about them, and after spending a few nights, I get it completely.
