Levernois itself is tiny — population maybe 800 people — but that’s exactly the point. You’re fifteen minutes from Beaune, which means easy access to wine tastings and that famous medieval town center, but you get to retreat to this peaceful bubble where the biggest noise is probably horses whinnying in the morning. The village has a couple of other spots worth checking out, including a little bakery that does incredible pain au chocolat, but honestly, you might find yourself not wanting to leave the hotel grounds much.
