Top Mountain Resort

We spent two nights at the Top Mountain Resort and enjoyed great service. We started by looking at the rooms and then choosing our favourite. We opted for the Family Suite (wooden cabana with balcony). The manager had honestly pointed out to us that these are the older cabanas and that, due to the way they are built, you have to expect animal visitors from time to time (ants, beetles). This was not a problem for us and we felt very comfortable. However, there are also newer rooms where this is not the case. We loved the view and the huge balcony. The service was unique. We could decide whether we wanted to eat in the room or in the restaurant and tried both. The prices for the food are super fair and the food is delicious and plentiful. We saw lots of birds and really enjoyed our stay.

What could be improved: The bathroom of the wooden family suite was very specially designed (jungle theme), which we found funny, but the water didn't drain properly, which is why you always had wet feet when you went into the bathroom. I also think that with a few tweaks the old cabanas could be given a new shine, even though we liked it as it was.

We had an amazing stay at Top Mountain Resort! The views were absolutely stunning, and it was so peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and we felt right at home. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of variety to enjoy.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Thisaru, who went out of the way to assist us, and Harshani at the front office, who greeted us with a warm smile and made check-in and check-out so easy.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

My husband and I recently visited Wenasa Holiday Resort and were thoroughly impressed. It was worth more than the amount we spent compared to our holidays at other places. The rooms were comfortable, fully equipped (Free wifi, ac,tv,hot water, furniture etc) and clean. I shouldn’t forget to mention the marvelous sunrise view from the balcony. The pink sun peeking from behind the mountains over the treetops melted my heart. The meals provided were very delicious and customizable according to our needs. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. It is the only holiday place I am thinking of visiting again.

Brian and the rest of the team were super friendly and helpful during the entire stay. We stayed in the beautiful Cabana's, we really liked the unique style which makes this accommodation stand out from others in the area.

What could be improved: The accommodation is a bit further away from most places that tourists want to visit. However, Brian helped us arrange a tuktuk to visit places such as Liption Seat and Haputale, so we still saw everything we wanted.

Amazing location, most beautiful sunrise over the valley you will certainly remember.
Delicious food for a good price, portions are giant.
Amazing hospital staff, all of them very kind and helpful.

What could be improved: More light in a room would be great.
And it’s might be hard to find the place in a darkness, some sign in a main road could help.
