The staff knows the area inside and out, which comes in handy when you’re looking for the best hiking trails in the Santa Monica Mountains or want to avoid the weekend crowds at Zuma Beach.

Every room here faces the ocean, but the suites on the upper floors are where it’s at — especially around sunset when the light hits the water just right.
