Lagnes itself is one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Provençal villages, but that’s exactly the point — you’re far enough from the tourist crowds yet close enough to explore places like Isle-sur-la-Sorgue or even venture to Avignon for a day trip. The hotel provides secure parking, which honestly saved me from the stress of navigating narrow village streets with a rental car. What really won me over was how the staff treats both guests and horses with equal care — there’s something genuine about a place where the stable master knows every horse’s personality and the front desk remembers how you like your morning coffee.
