The staff greets you with that particular French elegance that feels genuinely warm rather than stuffy.

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally steps from Lake Geneva, and I mean literally. The hotel sits right on avenue du Léman, which runs parallel to the lakefront, so you can walk to the water in about two minutes. From most rooms, you get these sweeping views across the lake to the Swiss Alps, and let me tell you, watching the sunrise paint those peaks golden while sipping coffee is something else entirely.
The Equestrian Experience
Now, about the horse riding — this is where the Royal really shines. They’ve partnered with local stables that know the terrain around Évian like the back of their hand, and the trails through the Chablais mountains are absolutely spectacular.
