— About Horse Riding Hotels

An atlas for the estate, not the brochure.

We curate equestrian estates worth a whole trip — dressage yards in Andalucía, hunt country in Connemara, coaching stables in the New Forest, cattle ranches in Montana. You arrive knowing what discipline, what level and what horses you have booked.

Equestrian estate at golden hour

Welcome to Horse Riding Hotels — your atlas of equestrian estates worth the saddle time, across twenty countries.

We are here to change the way riders discover and book a horse holiday. By combining hand-checked listings with a friendly booking experience, we make it simple to compare disciplines, rider levels, arenas and accommodation — and reserve the right estate in one place.

— What we stand by

Three principles, plainly said.

I · Estate first

The horses earn the page.

Every entry is hand-picked for the riding around it — the schoolmasters in the arena, the cross-country trails, the country at the end of a long hack. The hotel is where you sleep, not the reason to come.

II · No paid placement

Affiliate links, never sponsored slots.

We earn through booking-platform commissions on links you choose to follow — never by promoting an estate into the directory. A yard earns its page on merit alone.

III · Ridden by humans

Each entry visited by an editor.

Our editors ride for at least two days, off-season, on our own dime. Verified guest reviews and specs-led listings give you real confidence in every choice.

— How we curate

From a tip-off to your front door.

  1. A tip-off

A rider, an editor, or a friend in the trade tells us about a yard we should know.

  2. A visit

An editor goes — at our cost, never the estate's — and rides for at least two days, off-season where possible.

  3. A verdict

We write the estate page first — horses, disciplines, arena, terrain. The hotel only earns a listing if the riding is worth the journey.

  4. A revisit

Every estate is ridden again at least every two seasons — and removed if it stops being itself.

The horse, the arena and the country are the product. The hotel is simply where you sleep.
